For One Single Seed, their June Sketch Challenge is also out. And it was provided by Donna, way to go girl! I love your sketch so much I can’t wait but do it at once. And while I am on sick leave (yes, I am sick since Saturday), I indulged myself creating a few layout I can post and upload. And OSS June sketch is one. I had fun doing the challenge because I have a couple of new pictures so here it is:

I used the photos taken during our Family Outing at Lake Villa. My mom and dad was reminiscing the day I got married and so we decided to go over at the resort where my wedding reception took place and it was Lake Villa resort. Our wedding in 2004 was a blast (at least for me and my family). My husband and I personally took care of everything and even on the day before our wedding, I am still preparing the tiniest details for the reception. It was, however, my mistake. I did not understand the concept of hiring wedding coordinators before. I thought they were just additional expenses but I was wrong. I got sick 2 days before the wedding and I have 39degrees fever while I was marching down the aisle. But still, I was able to manage. I walked down the aisle crying and still went to the reception as if nothing is happening inside of me. Here are some pics:

The same pool that the kids enjoyed swimming in was the pool we used to setup the stage. It was hard for the carpenters who did it but it was well worth it.

Once again, a new month is again time for new challenges, whether sketches, speed scraps, templates, etc. For Black Magic Sketches, it is their monthly sketch challenge and for this month, we are to use the colors red, green, teal, yellow and black! I was so excited to know the colors for I can finally use the Child’s Play Kit by Scraps of Ellay.

The kids enjoyed their summer of 2009. At last, they wouldn’t be settled on an inflatable pool alone. They got the chance to enjoy a real big pool. See more pictures here. It was way fun even though it was raining that day. Totally washed out all our worries.
