Am I late again? Not really sure but I wanted to greet of the marce, a very Happy Birthday! Seiko, I hope you had a wonderful celebration with your family. I am not really familiar as to how birthdays are celebrated in Japan but I know for a fact that Japanese do care a lot for their loved ones on their birthday.
O’tanjoubi Omedettou!

Seiko is one of my “kumare” with Sati. I haven’t personally met her but chatting with her online, emails and social connections – I have known her to be a loving mom to her kids. A Pinay, married to a Japanese with wonderful children. I knew her family loved her so much. You can just take a peek at her blog and see. She’s still sexy despite having children. Hey dear, do you have the best fat burner in town?
I am really glad our gift was able to reach her. It wasn’t something really expensive but all our thoughts are there – collectively
.
Hey – I think I might have missed some greetings! I apologize if I wasn’t able to post some of the greeting cards to the Marce – you know how toxic my corporate life is. End of April up to early May was really a headache and I hope to be able to catch up to my regular work this week. Election is over and hopefully, there’d be some peace.

Family
February is the month of Thanksgiving in our town. The third Sunday specifically, is the day of the celebration. Most people are more excited on the day before that, the 3rd Saturday. It is normally the day of the big town parade and all Barangays will be participating, each with their own tricks and gimmicks.
The family will be at my mother-in-law’s on these days and we will be able to see the parade. I’m just so happy hubby is feeling well today. Last year, I needed to bring him to the hospital after the parade due to systemic infection. Thankfully, this year will be happier for everyone and I hope he’ll be able to get more pics. He actually wanted to buy a new camera and as usual, I am opposing it, not until I saw some minor malfunctions of his 1000D after it has been repaired by the service center. So when my friend asked me to check on some exterior shutters online, I also went and checked the new models of Canon cameras. Dang, they are expensive! LOL! It really has to wait isn’t it? LOL!
Going back to the fiesta, I am pretty sure there will be celebrities and politicians in this parade – like it has always been. What I particularly like in parades are the ati-atihan. I love their ethnic and colorful attires and how they managed to perform in the streets – what a stamina!
Will get some pictures posted after the celebration. For now, we’re off to go there and watch the parade.
