Banner for Yz

Posted on June 4th, 2010 in Digital Scrapbooking, Friends

While I was online and waiting for an eczema treatment spam comment to be deleted in my wordpress account, I played around a bit with a logo that Fedhz asked me. This was for Yz and I know Fedhz is preparing something new so I would like to help her a bit. I made this badge for her using my new kit “The Sweet Life” which was released today at Scrapable.

I just hope she will like it. It is quite simple and I followed the instructions given by Fedhz with a little modification. Anyway, if you are interested on what were the items I used in this banner, come and check my latest release at Scrapable. I call this kit, The Sweet Life

The palette was quite girly but I did not want to concentrate on girls alone since it has some blue, green and brown so I made it into something more colorful and sweet, thus the title. I added a couple of girly and some elements that might come in handy for boys layout. I wanted it to be a little versatile despite the colors and I was glad it came out like this. I love it :)

It’s Back!

Posted on May 31st, 2010 in Digital Scrapbooking

My allergic rhinitis, that is! I have been suffering from this allergy since college and it has been just a year since I started having treatments. I have had several check ups and medications and I was relieved – at least for a couple of months. And now, it’s back and I feel like I am badly in need of some allergy relief once again.

Anyways, I guess I will have to deal with this allergy for life and I will constantly be in need of anti-histamines and nasal spray.

On a lighter note, I released a brand new kit last Friday. It was a collab I did with a designer I used to CT before. She is no less than Connie Prince and I am happy to be given such an opportunity to work with her. We named the kit Boy-sterous so if you have boy photos to scrap and you are in need of additional stash, this one is a good catch! Get it now while it’s on sale! It’s definitely a kit you must have. Who says you are just limited to boys, huh? It’s so versatile you can even use it to scrap non-boy photos!

Isn’t just something you can use for your everyday scrapping needs?

Just Too Tired

Posted on May 31st, 2010 in Personal

The last couple of weeks at work is indeed tiring. Tons of tasks and piles of documents to accomplish and so little time. My only salvation and the only thing that is keeping me sane after a hard day at work is being in front of the computer doing digital designs. I have been really slow in creating new kits the last couple of weeks and I have to make up and give some more life to my store!

I was checking some palettes looking for inspiration for July’s kits when I accidentally clicked on a hemorrhoid treatment page and I wondering where the palette page is located. I thought that something was wrong and then saw the address bar and realized I was on the wrong page. Silly! I must’ve been really sleepy and still looking out for new palettes to get me going with the new kits. LOL!

I am curious if being too tired has something to do with me losing my mojo these past few weeks. I nomally take a day or two to complete a kit but recently, I have been taking a week or more to get a kit done. And some are even collabs which should really be easier. It’s just frustrating. I wanted my store to be more active and have more customers but what am I going to do when my mood isn’t just going along with me. Shall i just drag hubby out and get some photos I can use for commercial items?

I think it’s a good idea. ;)

A Layout A Day

Posted on May 20th, 2010 in Digital Scrapbooking

I need to finish Iggy’s album before November! At least that’s what I promised my friend Tess. She’s so anxious to see more of Iggy’s birthday photos in digital layouts. To ease her daily scrap layout addiction, I intend to create a layout a day and give it to her (if my schedule permits LOL). I remember I posted one in FB while I was bugging her to look for top diet pills on the net because I am too lazy to do so. Haven’t really given up on the diet thing, huh!

Here’s a layout I did very recently. I used Connie Prince’s kit Love Without End and her Love You Forevah template. The photos are still from Iggy’s birthday and this one is with his mom, my dear friend, Tess. I hope you’ll like this one too :)

I loved how it turned out and I just hope she will get to like this page just like the first 2 layouts I made for her. I was so lucky to have found a couple of boy themed kits. I will probably try to create more of them after I finished my June projects! Oppps, I remember, I just finished a designer duo kit with my favorite designer! You’ll get to know her very soon so stay tuned. As always, if you are interested in digital scrapbooking, you can always visit my digiscrap site – Bubblescrap Designs. I hope to see you there more often. Be sure to sign up to my Newsletter to receive exclusive kits, freebies and bigger discount coupons that you can in my stores!

Sketch Challenge

Posted on May 19th, 2010 in Digital Scrapbooking

I am hosting the Sketch Challege at Scrapable for this month so before I go and check the spring plungers that hubby asked me to, allow me to make this post first. When I closed my store at My Life and Scrap, I also had to give up the Desktop Challenge and it is for that reason that you are no longer receiving free templates that you can use to change your desktop design every month.

On a lighter note, I moved my store to Scrapable last month too and now, am the proud host of the Sketch Challenge! I am inviting you to join and have some fun. Learn the basics of digital scrapbooking and enjoy being a digital scrapper. Here is the sketch I provided this month:

And since I was in the process of completing the album of Tess’ son, Iggy, I made use of some of his photos and came up with this layout.

And before I forget, all challenges at Scrapable entitles you to earn points! These points can later be converted to goodies in the Scrapable store so don’t forget to track your challenges if you are joining. It’s like hitting 2 birds with one stone! Have fun with the challenges and look forward to getting the kit you want for free!
