I knew I promised I’d share some desktop calendar sketches with you guys so here I am. I have posted the challenge details over at My Life and Scrap so I thought I might as well go ahead and post the template here so if anyone would like to get it and create their own desktop, they will have time before April.

So before I go and hunt more diet aids for my diet journey, here is our template. You can get it in PSD and PNG format. And by the way, this is available in 1280×1024 pixels so if you have problems about the size, please feel free to change it to your desire but remember that the template is for personal use only.

You need something to inspire you? Here is the layout I did using this template. I used my kit Spring Cake available exclusive at Scrapbookbytes.com and some photos of the kids and I while playing in the room.

I made a little change on the calendar I used and rasterized the text so if you don’t have the font i used, you can still have it. Of course, feel free to use any font you like. It was fun creating this layout and the girls who have joined the challenged enjoyed it so far so I hope you will too

Are you a fan of calendars? Do you want to change your desktops look monthly? I have a fun way of doing it and I would like to share it to you. Every month, I am hosting a desktop challenge in my digital scrap community – My Life and Scrap. I decided, I will share it with you from now on. This February, I have another template that you can create on to make a calendar for March. Don’t worry it’s not just for scrapbookers, it can be for anyone else. If you have photoshop, GIMP, PSE or Paint Shop Pro, you will do good on this.

Don’t be afraid to try, we are all Free People here and we are entitled to try every thing. When I first saw a layout similar to this one, I got inspired creating some more for my daughters. Though the album is still in progress, that is my project for this year. I wanted to complete their baby album. Besides, I can design better now than a year ago. LOL.

I will be posting the calendar templates monthly too so you’ll get a chance to change your desktop background regularly.
