Here are the 2 layouts I made using the kit.

I intend to add these layouts to the album I am creating. It has been quite a long time and I am very happy to have been given a chance to work with a beautiful kit. Juliya is a wonderful designer too. I love her CU products and I am planning on getting more of them soon.

I have made a couple more LOs using my own kits for this album and right now, I am working on a baby kit so I  will get to finish everything before mid year. I still owe my friend, Tess an album for Luigi’s birthday party. Oh, a lot of work to be done but there isn’t enough time. LOL! I wish I could work on all of these during weekdays but I have work – my real work. Still dreaming of the time when I can be called a SAHM. Will it ever happen?

I recently checked the site and I wanted a bag and a couple of books but I am really not sure if they are shipping in Manila or how much would it really cost. I have tried buying online for a couple of sites for my scrapbook materials when I was still doing traditional scrapbooking but they are not from Amazon. I would really love to know if someone have actually tried and how long did it take?

I have always been an online customer. Most of the items I buy are online. Transactions are easy and I don’t have to go to the mall and look for it all over. It has it’s disadvantages though as you can’t really see the actual product until it is shipped but so far I have never had any bad experience nor did I get any unsatisfactory products from buying online. It was a all good for me.

So far, I have gotten good reviews when buying at Amazon and I think the site has a good reputation so I might be a regular customer there too once I learn that they are shipping goods to Manila. Can’t wait!

Just what is going on with our kids nowadays? Do they really not have enough knowledge and understanding that these things can wait? Are the parents always have to be blamed for this? It might really be hard to accept but our kids are exposed to a lot of things these days and education is still the best approach for them to understand the consequences of these things. It’s just that Filipinos do not normally discuss matters like this in the family. Most Filipino parents would say its taboo but come to think of it, if the children do not understand that these acts comes with responsibility, they will never learn until it’s too late.

One of those interviewed teens already have simplex herpes and is currently undergoing treatment. The boy is unaware of it and don’t really know how worst. I was taken aback by his statement that no one told him about this and that thing. I got irritated by that fake ignorance. He is a senior high school student and as far as I can remember, these things are already being discussed in school – in a topic called family planning?

Oh well – I have learned something valuable from that short watch. I needed to engage my kids in these kinds of discussion. Have an open communication and allow them to talk. Learn to listen as a friend to your children and they will open their heart to you. I will always remember that. I pray that these things won’t happen to my kids.

I will definitely enjoy this weekend. Will sleep until late morning tomorrow and will go out with hubby and the kids. It’s play time once again and the girls are excited. I’m just a little worried because Scieszka still has fever this evening and if it persist until tomorrow, we might need to bring her to the doctor for a check. She’s been complaining about her tummy too but I can never really tell what’s going on. It’s a good thing she was able to go to sleep without any problems.

Oh I terribly missed the weekend. Aren’t there any holiday next week? LOL! I wanted to rest a bit more but work is really tough these days and I have to be in the office. I just do hope this year turns out to be a positive one for me and husband. I usually don’t expect too much about work laddering but I can’t help getting envious of those who have been recently promoted. I do have my lapses though – and it has been my constant weakness but believe me, despite that – I can still do a better job.

The girls would normally have fever during the rainy season and not on a summer so I was kind of asking what happened when we are at the office. I would always do that – but I would constantly get the same answer from those taking care of them while we’re out, NONE.  It hasn’t changed.

The husband is already raising his concerns, mostly about how the kids are being taken cared of, being fed, being spoiled, everything. And I can’t blame him. We are still struggling whether I should stay at home and personally take care of the kids but the fact that I have a better career than husband is getting in the way. And we can’t do it the other way around – I can’t just simply ask him to resign instead and take care of the girls. I still believe that mothers are the best caregivers for their children. Oh – this discussion is surfacing again and soon we will need to make a big decision. I just do hope next time – that decision will be a good one.

Really tough being a working mom, huh!
