OSS: June Sketch Challenge

For One Single Seed, their June Sketch Challenge is also out. And it was provided by Donna, way to go girl! I love your sketch so much I can’t wait but do it at once. And while I am on sick leave (yes, I am sick since Saturday), I indulged myself creating a few layout I can post and upload. And OSS June sketch is one. I had fun doing the challenge because I have a couple of new pictures so here it is:

I used the photos taken during our Family Outing at Lake Villa. My mom and dad was reminiscing the day I got married and so we decided to go over at the resort where my wedding reception took place and it was Lake Villa resort. Our wedding in 2004 was a blast (at least for me and my family). My husband and I personally took care of everything and even on the day before our wedding, I am still preparing the tiniest details for the reception. It was, however, my mistake. I did not understand the concept of hiring wedding coordinators before. I thought they were just additional expenses but I was wrong. I got sick 2 days before the wedding and I have 39degrees fever while I was marching down the aisle. But still, I was able to manage. I walked down the aisle crying and still went to the reception as if nothing is happening inside of me. Here are some pics:

The same pool that the kids enjoyed swimming in was the pool we used to setup the stage. It was hard for the carpenters who did it but it was well worth it.

Tinee’s Bridal Shower Party

I am getting so forgetful. I have totally forgotten to blog about Tinee’s shower! Friend, here it is now, I am very sorry for the long delay.

Actually, the shower was held last November, a couple of days before their Big day. That day became more like a reunion for all of us. The bride, was our good friend and officemate before she left for Singapore to pursue her career. It was sad she left the company but we were very happy for her because she’ll be able to fulfill her dreams. She is now successfully working and presently living in Singapore. That is why, this became more like a gathering than a shower.

The party was hosted by the bride’s best friend and maid of honor. Well, I can’t go into the detail of what happpened during the night but we surely all had fun! Drinks, food and party games are all over the venue.

When we are about to give the bride some tips and advice about married life, parenting and the like – we all suddenly became serious. For all we know, getting married is not simple and we all have to be prepared for it.

We also prepared some nice gifts for the bride. Other guests gave her books and mementos. Well, we’ve prepared a sexy lingerie for her! She’s not getting any younger and we hope for her to have kids soon!

To my good friend, congratulations to you. I have posted about your wedding already but the shower party was delayed. Well, it is still always better late than never, right?

Dorado – Del Rosario Nuptials

Finally, RD and Tinee got married. After 5 years (i hope my recollection is correct) of being together, they solemnly exchanged their touching vows at the Chapel of Transfiguration of Jesus in Caleruega last November 28.

The mood that day was very happy, the weather was good and the touching vows made the witnesses cry. Oh, I got out of the church so to avoid being caught in the camera crying =)

Tinee was very very beautiful that day. Yes, she really is beautiful since birth! And RD looked gorgeous with the unique barong suite he got. It was very very nice. Reception followed at Splendido in Tagaytay. The program was enjoyed by everyone and the food was great.

As expected, the photographers didn’t have a hard time taking pictures of this couple. They loved the camera so much and they aren’t getting tired of posing for more! All the pictures taken were really good. Suffice to say, they got a very good photographer and videographer, Pat Dy and Bob Nicolas.

I did not coordinate the event but I enjoyed being their guest. It was also our time to get bonded with old friends and officemates which I haven’t seen for more than 2 years already. It was their wedding and our gathering. Very momentous event I must say.
