I still have a couple more but I will share some of them next time. I hope to be able to completely finish my 40-page album this year. I want to give them to my daughters as a gift on their 7th birthday next year. I still have 13 more months to work on them and hopefully, I’d be able to get a presentation. I want to see their smiling faces when they see these pages. They just love seeing them in my computer but I guess they’d be even happier to see it printed in an album.

I have always bought gifts for my daughters’ past birthdays so this one will be completely different. I designed most of the kits I used in the pages and I made the layouts myself. It’s a personalized kind of thing and that’s what makes it even more special. I can’t wait ’til the album is finished.

I have been scrapping most of the time. And my Blog Appetite readers might not like it. The site no longer caters to my original readers causing me to lose some of them. Scrapping is a hobby and I know you’ll understand if I sometimes post some scrapping stuff here. But too many is tiresome as not all of you is interested in it. And because you are all important to me, I am creating a new scrapping site for my scrapping buddies! Site to be announced soon!

So to all the scrap ladies out there – watch out for it and to the Blog Appetite readers, you will soon come to enjoy reading more about me here! Blog Appetite will remain and will always be, my original site

So for now until I setup the new site – I will house my scrap blog here. I will soon be able to complete it

And so, it is only now that I found time to enjoy my use of PC (hubby is in their Photography Club’s General Assembly). I can use the computer today, all by myself! First thing in the morning, I exported the raw image of the picture hubby took a couple of days ago and made a digital LO for this challenge. I browsed my digital kits but ended up using my favorite kit to date – Grandma’s Porch by Mad Scrapper Designs.

Oh, I remember I did not post about my Kaya 26 entry so I might as well take this opportunity to show it. Kaya 26 was a Pearl Challenge. We have to make a layout with pearls. This was actually my second layout. I was not in the picture on the first layout so I have to redo it. And voila – I made this!

There were I think 50 scrappers present. When I entered, I saw the buffet table filled with bowls of different embellishments, papers and cardstocks hung and a lot of several unfamiliar things to me. When I saw the scrappers getting their totes ready, I was like, whoaaahhh! Are these what they call tote? Yeah, I am new to traditional scrapbooking so most of the things, tools and gadgets I saw there seems to be awesome!

I finished 5 12X12 layouts and 1 8X8 that day but I can only post 4. I already gave 1 to my mother-in-law and the other 1 is…I just can’t post it

Yesterday, I met with an old friend and a high school classmate, Donna. She’s been into scrapbooking since I don’t know when but she’s into both traditional and digital. The only thing I can tell about her is that all her creations are gorgeous. I am really inspired by her work. Check out scrappydonna‘s layouts for you to see. She taught me how to do paper and even showed me all her tools and inks and other accessories. I was stunned, paper really has more into it and so I ended up buying some of her papers, chipboards and elements, lol!

Oh and by the way, I also joined Studio Azul‘s kit club membership. My very first kit was delivered to me last Thursday. Donna and I used it yesterday when I had my first tutorial. And since this month is the celebration of father’s day, we used the pictures of the kids with their dad. Here is the outcome:
