On Protecting Children from Mosquitoes

Posted on January 18th, 2012 in Home And Well Being

On certain occasions, I admit to imagining that I have a glowing halo on top of my head, and that I have grown a pair of white, feathery wings.  Yes, call me crazy but I sometimes wish I were an angel who constantly keeps a close eye on my kid.  I guess it’s pretty safe to say that all moms, rich or poor, want only the best for their kids

It should come as no surprise then that I was only too ecstatic to have been introduced to Guard Insect Repellent lotion.  Our paths crossed for the first time at Sean’s birthday party.  He’s the son of my blogger friend Jade of MommaWannabe.  Guard Insect Repellent lotion happened to be one of the prizes given away during the games, and to say the least, my curiosity was piqued.
When I tried it on my daughter’s skin, what I liked right away was the way it smelled.  It had none of the repulsive insecticide-y scent which you commonly find in other insect repellents.  It had a pleasant powdery-fresh scent.

Another good thing about Guard is that it is DEET-free, so it won’t irritate your child’s delicate skin. Instead, it has Picardin, which is a natural insect repellent found in peppers.
If you’re a mom who wants to safely protect her kids from nasty insect bites, then Guard Insect Repellent is the way to go.
