A good friend gave birth the other week. She has been long waiting for this baby and we were very happy for her. Come June, we’ll attend her son’s Christening. Another get together with friends – time to catch up and relax a little. Hubby and I were already thinking what to give them but I got tired of looking for unique gifts for her son so I decided I’d create a photo birth announcement using my digital stash. I think I’ll be unique.

I can’t clearly recall when I made a photo birth announcement but I do remember that I made an invitation for my niece, Bethany last month. It was a simple invite to preserve the innocence of the baby in the photo. I’ll try to make use of some of my newer kits this time – focusing on light colors to match the baby’s fresh photos. I’ll have it posted here soon as soon as it is finished.

Another baby to welcome – a baby who will bring happiness to the family and will bring joy in every household. Am I missing having a baby? Ack – definitely not yet! The kids are still young and I still need to catch my breath in taking care of them so I can’t afford to wish for a baby LOL!
