Cosplay Mania 2009
Yet another cosplay event attended by hubby. We tagged along. My daughters, my mother-in-law, brother-in-law and a friend. This was the second cosplay that the kids saw. The first one was I think a year ago and they are still afraid of the cosplayers then. Now, they roam around the event venue with us and even saw some familiar characters.
This was the first time I saw some kids did the cosplay too! I saw a little kid dressed as Neji from Naruto (hubby didn’t catch him though). It’s nice to see that the players are putting more effort into this. However, I can say that there are still some who did it half-heartedly – just for the sake of joining. However, we still enjoyed watching them pose. Here are some shots taken by hubby.

where was this? was this event in pinas? i’ve been wanting to go to a cosplay. cguro pag visit na lang namin ng japan. mas marami dun kasi mahilig mag cosplay ang mga japanese.
wow coincidence naman, pamangkin ko yung nasa first pic lol.. anime maniac talagang pamangkin ko.
too bad my son’s costume (Aang of Avatar) did not make it on time.
still my kids enjoyed it so much.

I have an officemate before who facilitate this kind of event. Mahilig din kase sya sa mga anime.
This looks like great fun and the costumes look fantastic. I haven’t heard about anything like this going on in the U.K.
