8th Philippine Toy Convention
I almost forgot to blog about this. As you know, my husband and I have been hooked into watching Japanese series and animes. And as such, he is also a gundam kit builder (i don’t know if this is the correct term). So he is pretty much on radar when it comes to Toy Convention and Costume Plays or cosplay as it is called by the Japanese (due to their limit on the use of syllables for certain terms).
Anyway, here in the Philippines, I have seen several of these and even accompanied hubby to one last year. We don’t have a decent camera back then so the pictures are stored somewhere I can’t already remember. Last June, the 8th Toy Convention was held at the Megatrade Hall in SM Megamall. Hubby went with friends from college and there he got the chance to take pictures of some cosplayers who participated in the event. Here they are:

yep, there is a scheduled cosplay in august and another one in september. i am just not sure what day but i think hubby put it in his multiply calendar (which i have a link in this entry)

I’m not a fan of cosplays, pero nung nagpunta kami dyan sa Toycon sa Megamall, I was really impressed! ang galing ng mga costumes nila, kahit na I have no idea kung sino-sino sila… but the kids & my hubby knows! heheh
alam mo mye I am not an anime fan but I have seen one like this on ROb one time, sobrang bilib talaga on the arts behind it, ang galing ng creativity nila and how they mimic the anime character!

This gundam serie is the best. I cannot forget my initial time watching Gundam Wing then know about japan mobile suit gundam. Hope to have more excellent gundam serie in the future
